Last Saturday, September 21st, the DMA Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team put forth a stellar performance at Grappling Industries in Frederick, Maryland. Paul Lewandowski, Robbie Martin, Antonio Crawford, Eric Borio, Andrew Lenzo, Drew Lomax, and Aryan Toughiry represented District Martial Arts.
Every division was competitive and our fighters proudly represented DMA. The team earned 27 victories on Saturday and won 5 medals (4 golds and 1 silver). The few matches we lost were very competitive and all of our fighters displayed the valor we expect from a DMA representative. Big shout outs to Drew and Robbie for earning double gold on the day.
Aside from the tangible/metrics based takeaways, the team walked away excited, motivated and ready to compete again soon. All in all, it was a great day for District Martial Arts. Congratulate your teammates next time you see them.
