A Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt with a master’s degree in teaching, Carter leads both gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu classes at DMA on Mondays and Wednesdays. In addition to his coaching experience on the mat, he’s also been a high school math teacher by trade for ten years, and loves to play basketball and volleyball.

Outside of his group classes, he is available for private lessons to adult students of all levels.
